Biography:
Dr. Patterson comes to Azalea after completing an orthopaedic surgery residency at the renowned Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio and after a hand, upper extremity and microsurgical fellowship at the Wake Forest University / North Carolina Baptist Hospital. He has a strong interest in improving the quality of life of patients with problems with their hand, forearm, elbow, upper arm, shoulder, adult brachial plexus injuries as well as with general fractures. He has published numerous scientific articles and presented many research studies in orthopaedics and hand surgery regionally, nationally and internationally. Dr. Patterson continues his academic endeavors here in Tyler by collaborating with professors in the mechanical engineering and kinesiology departments at UT Tyler.
