Azalea Orthopedics Announces Team Roster Team for 2016 All-Star Classic Game

 

The Azalea Orthopedics All-Star high school basketball games have been set for April 2, 2016 in the Wagstaff Gymnasium on the Tyler Junior College campus. The game, which is in its Thirteenth year, is sponsored by Azalea Orthopedics. The Classic gives high school seniors in the East Texas area the opportunity to showcase their talent for colleges and hometown fans.

Area seniors are nominated by their high school coaches and are selected by an All Star selection panel. “We are pleased to announce this year’s coaches and team members for both the girls and boys teams for the All-Star Classic,” said Dan Fuller, Azalea head athletic trainer and coordinator of the annual event. They are as follows:

The East practice on March 30th. Girls at 6 boys at 7:30. 

The West practice on March 31st. Girls at 6 boys at 7:30.

All practices are at Wagstaff Gym on the campus of Tyler Junior X College.

“In the past we have had some very talented athletes play in these games, we are very fortunate to continue with that tradition,” explains Fuller. He also added that areas of East and West divide teams geographically.

Doors open at 5:00 p.m. on April 2. The girls’ game time is slated for 5:30 p.m. with the boys’ game to follow at approximately 7:00 p.m. Ticket prices are $6.00 for adults and $3.00 for children under the age of 10.

All proceeds from the All-Star game are donated to the Bethesda Clinic.
